Please Insert Disc

This issue can appear is there is a mismatched configuration file. This can happen on different instances that may be unrelated to each other.

When you get the "Please insert disc" error message without any specific numbers, it means that the file that reads where the disc is inserted is not configured correctly. If you encounter this issue, please follow the steps below.

Click on the Start Menu/Windows logo in the lower left hand corner. Open "Computer” and open the following folders in this order:

For Windows XP

  • Under the header “Hard Disk Drives” open the icon for (C:)
  • Navigate to Program Files
  • Navigate to Phantom EFX
  • Navigate to RealDealLive or OnlineCasino

For Windows 7/Vista

  • Under the header “Hard Disk Drives” open the icon for (C:)
  • Navigate to Users
  • Navigate to Public
  • Navigate to Phantom EFX
  • Navigate to RealDealLive or OnlineCasino

Look for a file that says "config" and double-click on this. In the window that appears, the text should read something similar (though it may not be exact) to:

[main]

cdrompath=“D”:\

In the example above, "D" represents your CD or DVD drive. We must alter this to reflect the correct disc drive that the disc is in on your computer. Your disc drive letter may be different from this.

On the “config” file, make any changes necessary to match your disc drive letter. Once this is complete, go to "File" and click "Save." Then close out of these windows and try your game again.
